There is a total of six fundamental rights in the Indian Constitution. These special rights that we have got through our constitution give us some special power. Those six fundamental rights are:
- Right to Equality
- Right to Freedom
- Right against Exploitation
- Right to freedom of religion
- Cultural and Educational Rights.
- Rights to constitutional Remedies

Right to Equality:
The Right to equality ensures equal rights to all the citizen of India. Under this law, Every citizen of India is free to celebrate their own happiness beyond their caste, religion or community, etc.
Right to Freedom:
The Right to freedom gives you freedom of speech, freedom of movement, Freedom of expression and many more etc. Thes rights have their own restrictions at their level.
Rights against Exploitation:
This law has been specially made for minorities and lower caste people. Earlier it used to happen that the people were forced to work without their will and choice. Rights against Exploitation condemns Human Trafficking, Child labour etc.
The Constitution says that the states should treat each religion in an equal way. It also guarantees all people the freedom of conscience and the right to preach, practice and propagate any religion of their choice.
Cultural and Educational Rights:
Cultural and Educational Rights protect the Cultural of any states and gives them special rights to protect their culture. It also ensures the educational rights to all the citizen of India. especially to the minorities and lower caste peoples like who belongs to the OBC (Other backward class) and SC/ST. Scheduled Caste and scheduled tribes. etc.
All the citizens of India have rights to take educational and live in their own manner. This is our constitution that gives them these special rights.
Rights to Constitutional Remedies:
The Rights to Constitutional Remedies gives them special Right to go to the Supreme court of India to ask for protection for the Fundamental Rights. The Supreme Court has the jurisdiction to enforce the Fundamental Rights even against private bodies, and in case of any violation, award compensation as well to the affected individual.
These are the fundamental rights of the constitution of India. Earlier it was seven fundamental rights but in the year 1978, the right to property has been removed by the government.
