Raja Parba Festival

 PM Modi gave best wishes to ODISHA on Raja Parba. It is a 3-day festival celebrating womanhood is being celebrated across Odisha starting Monday. This is a festival of agro activities & fertility. During this period, it is believed by Odisha’s people  that Mother Earth menstruates and prepares herself for future agricultural activities with the arrival of monsoon. In this festival delicious foods like cakes(pithas) pithas varities- Poda Pitha’, ‘Manda’, ‘Kakara’, ‘Arisha’, ‘Chakuli’ and ‘Chandrakala’ have been made and distributed home to home by people.

Raja Parba or Mithuna Sankranti is a three-day-long festival and the second day signifies the beginning of the solar month of Mithuna from, which the season of rains starts. This is the festival of agricultural monsoon/ year.

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has congratulated Naftali Bennett on becoming the Prime Minister of Israel. Naftali Bennett was the former Defence Minister of Israel, and he was the leader of the Yamina party took oath as the Prime Minister. Naftali Bennett(49-year-old ) former tech entrepreneur replaces Benjamin Netanyahu,  (2009 to 2021). Netanyahu is the longest-serving PM of Israel his office duration was (2009 to 2021).

IIT Ropar develops nation’s first power-free CPAP device ‘Jivan Vayu’

 India is fighting against Covid-19 and in this fight Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar has developed a device ‘Jivan Vayu’. This is country’s  first such device which functions even without electricity and is adapted to both kinds of oxygen generation units like O2 cylinders and oxygen pipelines in hospitals. The machine uses mild air pressure to keep the airways open for easy breathing & also used to treat infants whose lungs have not fully developed.

This technology reduces lung damage and allow patients to recover from the inflammatory effects.
