To join the Indian Armed forces through the CDS Examination, A candidate will have to clear the CDS Selection process which is consists of Written Examination, SSB Interview, and Medical tests. Salary of CDS Cadets:

The pay, as well as benefits to the candidates selected by way of the CDS Exam, starts during the period of training itself. Cadets do not get any salary Cadets are eligible for a sum of Rs. 21,000 per month as stipend during the training period.

This is the stipend that Officer get while their training, Once they complete training they get posted on their respected posts. They get a Salary of around 67,400/-per month. This is just an average salary and salary always depends on the nature of work and area of posting etc.

CDS Cadets Promotion:

Once the CDS cadets complete their academics training successfully. They appear for the Passing out parade and after that, they get the first Posts of the officers in their respected wings like:

In Airforce they will be joined as flying officers
In the Indian Navy, they will be joined as a Sub- Lieutenant
In the Indian Army, they will be joined as Lieutenant.

CDS Cadets Training Procedure:

All the selected candidates will be sent to your respected wings whatever you select like for army cadets Indian Military Academy (IMA), for air force cadets Air Force Academy (AFA), for navy cadets Indian Naval Academy (INA) and here you will be trained for 2 years. And here you will be trained about your duties, about your responsibility, etc.

CDS training begins on the very first day. The first day you will learn the rules and regulations of the Academy. The lifestyle of cadets is not as easy as it looks. They train themselves day and night to be a warrior. Few days of starting will be all about your fitness and diet and morning exercise at 4am. They will also teach you about military subjects. After few days you will start your Basic Military Training in the guidance defense personnel in which you will be taught about the Weapons used in the war and how to use those weapons etc. you will be trained so hard in this so that you can prepare for the next training.

Cadets live their life like a gentleman, they transform themselves from Boy to men, from men to gentlemen and they live there like a family with fix routine of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They never get bored because they are always busy with their events, exercise, and seminar, etc. It is hard to be a Warrior.
