Chetan Cheetah is like those brave soldiers of the country who lost their lives to protect the country. But Chetan Cheetah did not only face the terrorists by putting his life at the risk of protecting the country but also told the terrorists what is CRPF and what it can do. Let us know how Chetan Cheetah has sacrificed his life for the service of his country.

Tales of the bravery of Chetan Cheetah:-

The candidates preparing for the army should be brave and fearless like Chetan Cheetah. Let’s take a look at how Chetan Cheetah became so brave and fearless. On 14 February 2017, when Chetan Cheetah was stationed on the border with some of his comrades, at the same time he gets information about the hiding of two terrorists by the local police. He took this information seriously and went out with his team in search of those terrorists. He knew that when they would be looking for terrorists, the local people would face many kinds of problems and finding terrorists would not be easy.

When Chetan Cheetah went out to find those terrorists, he only had information about their numbers. He did not have any other information. Then he gets the information that both the terrorists are hiding at Hajjin place of Bandipur. On hearing this, he along with his patrolling team ran to him. And dividing his team into many parts, took control of that entire sensitive area.

What happened when the terrorists were confronted:-

When Chetan reached Hijjan, he saw the movement of terrorists there. They went ahead running fast after the terrorists and their companions were left behind. When the terrorists saw Chetan Cheetah alone, they retaliated and attacked him. Chetan too caught this trick of the terrorists and immediately took his position. It is being told that the terrorists had a huge amount of weapons, explosives like AK-47, granite. Whereas only one of his service rifles was available with Chetan. And they seemed very weak in front of the enemies. Nevertheless, Chetan fired on the terrorists and firing started from there as well.

Both the terrorists wanted to run away but Chetan Cheetah was coming in the middle of their plans and did not let them escape. The terrorists saw that the army was also coming to kill them, so they intensified the firing to kill Chetan as soon as possible and then a bullet caught fire in Chetan’s body. Due to which Chetan was seriously injured but he did not give up and kept standing in front. When the terrorists saw that Chetan was injured and could not do anything, they tried to run away.

When Chetan saw this, he pointed his gun towards the terrorists and started firing. In which one terrorist was killed. During this firing, he fired about 16 bullets. After that, darkness began to fall in front of his eyes and he fainted. After that, he was admitted to the Srinagar Hospital by his companions. Chetan’scondition was very serious. In view of the deteriorating health there, he was shifted to Delhi as soon as possible. During this, he did not give up and kept fighting to the death.

When people came to know that Chetan was injured in an encounter with terrorists and is fighting to the death, everyone prayed for his well being. After many efforts made by the doctors, Chetan Cheetah’s life was saved and his condition started improving as soon as possible. After this incident, Chetan had to stay in ICU for about 1 month.
