JAG Entry Selection Process 2020:-

This entry is only for the Indian Army, you can apply for the JAG entry and can become a lawyer or Judge in the Army. This entry is directly held by the Major General of the Indian Army. This is the legal branch of the Army and the Candidates are directly joined the Legal branch which is completely different from the other branches of the Indian army. you can apply for this Branch through the Army website, men and women both are eligible to apply for this post. JAG Entry Selection process:-

The entry of JAG selection seems very simple. The recruitment of the candidates would be based on the marks scored in the Graduation which is done the Major General of the Army. The selected candidate will be called for the SSB interview and after clearing this The candidate will appear for the Medical tests which are conducted by the Military doctors. So the Selection goes like this:-

• Selection based on the LLB (Graduation) marks. Shortlisted Candidate will appear for the-
• SSB Interview
• Medical Test

JAG Entry Eligibility Criteria:-

The JAG entry eligibility criteria are as follows:-

• Candidate must be Citizen of India
• Only law Graduates can apply for this post.
• Candidate must have an LLB degree from any recognized University/Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• The marks in the LLB degree should be less than 55% marks.
• The candidate must be eligible for the Bar Council of India.

Age limit for JAG entry:-

There is also some certain age for applying for the JAG entry. the age of the candidate should not be less than 21 yrs old and should not be more than 27 yrs old. (21 yrs to 27yrs old).

How to prepare for the JAG entry:-

In order to prepare for the JAG entry, a candidate has to prepare for this since they join the LLB course because your first-round selection will be based on percentage marks scored in LLB. You have to score better to be shortlisted for the SSB interview. There are a huge number of a lawyer are freshly law graduates they all apply for this, so the merit list of the shortlisting for the SSB interview is goes bit high. You have to score well in the LLB Course in order to clear the cutoff for the SSB interview.

For the SSB interview, join any of the Defence academies for the SSB interview which has an officer working with them giving training for the JAG entry, there is no written exam for this entry, so the question which would be asked in the SSB interview would be difficult.
