NCC (National Cadets corps) is special training programs for the candidates who are interested in defense or want to join the National defense services in the future. The training of NCC is available in junior and senior wings both. for the students of 9th to 12th can join the NCC junior wings and for the students who have passed the class 12th then they can join the senior wings NCC training for the 3 years.
Types of certificates:-
There are three types of NCC training programs are available in India, which is for each individual’s wings of the Defence:-
- NCC Army Wings
- NCC Airforce Wings
- NCC Navy Wings
These are three wings of the NCC which is available in India, you can join any of them as per your choice, the basic training is the same as all the wings but the dresses and rules and regulations are a bit different as per their wings.
NCC army wings are very common and available in almost all the universities in India but the NCC airforce and Navy wings are available in few colleges and Camps only.
What is the NCC certification Course:-
NCC certification course, the NCC training is 3 years for the Senior wings and 2 years for the junior wings, in which you will be given three certificates NCC “A” certificates which are given after the completion of 1 year of training and then NCC “B” certificate which is given after the two years of training and after this you will be given NCC “C” Certificate, this is the last certificate which is given to the NCC cadets.
The NCC cadets will get a total of three certificates:-
- NCC “A” Certificate
- NCC “B” Certificate
- NCC “C” Certificate
Types of NCC training in India:-
There are a total of 3 types of training in India for the NCC (National Cadet Corps)
As I mentioned above also that the training of NCC is depended on wings in India. NCC training is conducted by the all three major forces of India like Indian Air force, Indian Navy and Indian Army in which the NCC of Army wings is very famous and available in almost all the universities. These all NCC wings are so different in nature and basic training procedure of the NCC wings training is same and the only difference is they train the candidate with their own rules and regulation, the Army wings cadet will be trained in the Army manner and Airforce cadets in Airforce manner and Navy cadet in navy manner. There are uncountable benefits of NCC If the Candidate is having NCC “C” certificate he/she can have these relaxations:-
- You can directly apply for the Officers Entry In the defense “NCC special Entry Scheme“
- If you are preparing for the Government job, you will get relaxation in all the exams either its Civil Service Examination or Bank PO exam.
- You can apply for the Police Service with this NCC certificates.
- You can also apply for the Indian Army GD branch, you will not have to appear for the written exam or interview, you will be directly called for the Medical.
- You will easily get a job in the Home guard or security services.
- You can apply for the Government Homeguards services.
- This is proud, If you are having NCC ‘C’ certificate.

But it is tough to get the NCC C certificate, you have to clear the different phases of exams and Interview to get NCC C certificate. Most of the NCC and left the training in first year or 2nd year. They would also get some relaxation if they are having NCC”A” or NCC “B” certificate but will not be considered in the NCC special entry Schemes.
