AFCAT Selection Process

The Entry Procedure for an Officer’s Entry in the defence exam is pretty much similar. The AFCAT Entry is also like this. The AFCAT Exam is conducted by the Indian Air force itself for the selection of the officers into the following branches of the Indian Air force. Through this entry, one can join the Flying branch, technical branch, Ground Duty branches, etc.

Selection Process in AFCAT Entry

A candidate will have to clear the Computer-based online test and then AFSB Interview. Eligibility Criteria of AFCAT:

  • Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
  • Candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks.
  • Candidates appearing in the final semester or year can also apply.
  • Candidate should have physics and mathematics in class 12th
  • Candidates below the age of 25 must be unmarried before the commencement of the course.
  • Age limit: the age of candidate should not be more than 24 years old and should not be less than 19 years old. (19 years old to 24 yrs old. )

About AFCAT Computer-Based test:

AFCAT is basically knowns as the easiest written exam. The written exam is very easy but the competition is very tough. There are very few seats in AFCAT around 25-30 seats in all over India. you just have to do better than other candidates. Try to attempt maximum questions. and  Do your best subjects first in which you can tick maximum correct answers.

Attempt your question one by one start with English because this is the easiest portion of the exam in which you can score well. Then move to the General awareness, this can be also easy to tick. Do the numerical questions at last because these questions take a lot of time and might be missed your other portion because of this.
