AGE Limit for AFCAT
- Age limit for flying branch:- 20 to24yrs years.
- Age limit for technical and ground duty officers:- 20 to 26yrs old.
Eligibility Criteria of AFCAT
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
- Candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks.
- Candidate appearing in the final semester or year can also apply.
- Candidate should have physics and mathematics in class 12th
- Candidate below the age of 25 must be unmarried before the commencement of the course.

Exam pattern of EKT AFCAT
This paper consists of two parts:-
| Part-1 | Part-2 |
| General engineering (where you will be asked general things related to engineering) | Specialized subjects (in this you will be asked from your specialist subject, like from Aeronautical Engineering (electronics, mechanics & computer science ).

- This is a 45 minutes long exam.
- Total no. of questions 50
- Maximum marks 150
- 3 marks will be given for each right answer.
- One marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
