The paper of NDA written examination is divided into two parts and the Marking scheme is different for each. We will see the marking scheme of both papers Individually.
Marking Scheme of NDA 1/2020:
Paper will be given in two parts:-
Part-I In this paper you will be given 120 questions of mathematics.
- Max marks 300.
- Time duration 2.5hrs
- A candidate will get 2.5 marks for each right answer.
- Negative marking 0.83 for each wrong answer.
Part-II In this paper you will be given 50 questions of English and 100 questions from GS.
- Max mars 600.
- Time duration 2.5hrs
- A candidate will get 4 marks for each right answer.
- Negative marking of 1.32 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

- You have to add 2.5 marks for per right answer.
- Add the marks of your right answer on one sheet.
- For each wrong response, 0.83 marks will be deducted.
- Add the marks of your wrong answer on one sheet.
Add all the marks of your right answer and Minus it with wring answers Marks. The final Marks that you will get, that would be your final Score of NDA mathematics.
For the GAT (General Ability Test):
- You have to add 4 marks for each right answer.
- Add the marks of your right answer on one sheet.
- For each wrong answer, 1.32 marks will be deducted.
- Add all the wrong answer marks in one sheet.
Add all the marks of your right answer and Minus it with wring answers Marks. The final Marks that you will get, that would be your final Score of NDA General Ability Test.
