NDA, CDS, and AFCAT SSB Centers in India:

SSB Interview is a qualification examination held on the basis of Intelligence and Personality test. It is a 5 Days long interview procedure. Herein candidates are expected to qualify for all the rounds to be performed in these 5 days. All the tasks are mandatory here. Candidates are allowed to give the SSB interviews Only once after qualifying the written examination for different defense-related examinations or in some entries, candidates are also get shortlisted for the Interview on the basis of the marks in the last Qualifying examination like Intermediate, Graduation, etc.

List of NDA and CDS SSB Centers in India:

There is a total of Four SSB (Service Selection Board) Interview Center in India that are at different locations.

• Allahabad SSB Center located at Cariappa Rd, Canton, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh 211001
• Bhopal SSB Center located at Jaipur-Guna Road Chandukheri, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462001
• Bangalore SSB Center located at Cubbon Rd, FM Cariappa Colony, Sivanchetti Gardens, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560042
• Kapurthala SSB center located at Professor Colony, Kapurthala, Punjab 144602

These are the SSB Centers in India. There are also some exams that are conducted by the Air force Selection Board and Navy Selection Board. They have their own SSB centers and also known with different names.

The Indian Air force Selection Board has also four AFSB Interview Centers in India. All the candidates after the first phase of selection, appear at these locations for the Interview.

The Indian Navy Selection Board has three SSB Interview Center. All the Exams that is conducted by the Indian Navy Selection Board. After the first phase of selection, Candidates will have to appear for the NSB Interview. There is total three NSB Center in India.

• Coimbatore NSB Center is located at NSB Agrani (Address: The President Naval Selection Board INS Agrani Red Fields Coimbatore-641018)

What is different between SSB, AFSB and NSB Interview:

There is no difference in the Interview. All the processes and procedures will be completely the same. Only just name and conducting body is different. All the candidate who appears for the Indian Air force exam which is conducted by the AFSB, they will appear for AFSB Interview and the exam which is conducted by the Indian Navy Selection Board, candidates will appear for NSB Interview. SSB Interview, AFSB Interview, or NSB Interview is five days long and each day of the Interview is different. Here is the complete procedure of the Interview.

Procedure of SSB, AFSB or NSB Interview:

This is five days long and each day of the Interview will be different. here is the complete details about the each day of the Interview.

Day 0(Day of Reporting): The candidates have to report on the railway stations in the morning. From here SSB official will escort them up. Hereby, candidates are required to show up all the requisite documents and furthermore for upcoming steps.

Day 1(Screening Tests): The first day starts here, hence with a series of tests to be held. The candidates have to give a verbal and a non-verbal intelligence test. A picture perception test will also be conducted. Thereafter storytelling will be held. Those candidates who qualify all these rounds are sent to another day.

Day 2(Psychology Test): To sum up as a whole, the candidates’ presence of mind is tested here. With the help of different sorts of examinations. Mainly the selectors test the reactions of the candidate in different situations.

Day 3 and Day 4( GTO Tasks): These are basically outdoor tasks assigned to each candidate. So as to test the physical abilities and in the group performance capacity of the candidate. Most of the tasks given to the candidates are group tasks.

Next two tasks are usually called GTO test. This test has the following test:-

• Group Discussion(GD)
• Group Planning Exercise
• Progressive Group Tasks(PGT)
• Half Group Tasks(HGT)
• Individual Obstacles
• Group Obstacles Race or Snake Race(GOR)
• Command Task(CT)
• Lecturette
• Final Group Task(FGT)

Day 5( Conference): In this final round, a personal interview is held for all the qualified candidates of the GTO round. After this, the selection personnel conducts a conference with the candidate.
