Indian Air Force conducted AFCAT-I 2018 Examination successfully at various centres but at the same time it was also reported that the examination was cancelled.
Many of the candidates reported that management at the examination centres was not up to the standards and even air force officials were not sure about the line of action to be followed. The entire online examination system faced major setback due to which CDAC had to publish an official notice on their AFCAT website about the cancellation of the examination.
Official notice by AFCAT-
Few exam centres have been cancelled due to technical reasons. Candidates of these centres will get revised admit card and the new date of exam shall be communicated to them.
Reasons for cancellation
- This was first time IAF decided to conduct AFCAT examination online and the management was not fully prepared for this due to which technical issues surfaced
- At many of the centres scheduled examination was delayed by half an hour to an hour.
- At some of the centres candidates were given only 1 and hour for the test.

When will be the re-examination will be held?
- Now for those candidates who were unable to take examination yesterday, exam will be held again.
- For these candidates new examination date will be communicated to the candidates via E-mail.
- Thus, Candidates are advised to check their registered email ID through which they have applied.
