The Selection Process of Male and Female candidates is completely the same in nature. A candidate will have to appear for the Physical fitness test which is the main part of the selection and after this all the candidates who would clear this phase they will appear for the Medical Test which is conducted by the Military Doctors at the Military Hospitals and then Common Entrance Examination just to check the basic academics knowledge of the candidates. Physical Fitness Test:
The Physical Fitness Test is the main part of the selection and also the toughest one. A candidate will have to prepare so well for this Physical Examination. In this physical fitness test. One will appear for activities like running, push-ups, squats, sit-ups, etc. All these activities must be completed in a definite time period. Here are those activities and details about these activities:
- Running: 1.6km within 5minutues
- Push-ups: 20
- Squats: 20
- Sit-ups: 10 etc.
Medical Examination:
The Medical Examination is also one of the toughest phases of selection. A candidate must be physically and mentally fit for this. In the medical Examination, A candidate’s Internal body organs and external body parts will be checked.
If in case you get a rejection from the Medical Board you can re-apply for that. If you get rejected you will get the proper reason for that. And there are two types of Medical Rejection. 1. Temporary Rejection 2.Permanant Rejection.

If you get permanent rejection they are no way to go back, you re-apply for your medicals to the Medical Board and of Medical Board Approved then you can appear for the re-Medical Examination. There is slight chances to get selected the Re-Medical Examination either the result would be the same.
If you have any minor problem you will be given time correct this like 45 days, 90 days, maximum 160 days only. In this case, you get a temporary rejection from the medical board to correct your problems within some time.
Common Entrance Examination:
The CEE paper is conducted to check the general Knowledge and Basic Academics knowledge of the candidate. There is nothing tough in this, All the candidates will have to appear for this, there is no way to skip this. You can check the previous year papers of this to understand better about this Exam’s pattern. Solve the last five year’s question papers to get better preparation and practice for the Examination.

Eligibility to appear for Physical Fitness test:
- A candidate must have passed at least class 10th with minimum of 45% marks.
- The age of the candidate must be between 17 years old to 21 years old.
- The age should not be more than 21 years old and it should not be less than 17 years old.
- The height of the candidate should not be less than 152cm
- There is no chest expansion is needed for women.
- The elbow should not be turn in outer direction for more than 15*
