The Indian Navy station INS Shivaji located in the Maharashtra region of India, The Passing out Parade was organized on 30 December 2021. A total of 50 officers were given their commission after a total of 105 weeks of training of 92ndbatches in the INS Shivaji School located in Lonavala, Maharashtra. The officers were commissioned after training in Marine Engineering during the passing out parade held at INS Shivaji on 30 December 2021. Passing Out Parade of Marine Engineers held at INS Shivaji
50 Officer Trainers have completed their professional training on 30 December 2021 at INS Shivajitrainingschool of the Indian Navy. The 92nd batch of Marine Engineering Sterilization was conducted after 105 weeks of professional training at INS Shivaji during the passing out parade held on 30th December. In this passing out parade, 15 foreign trainee officers from 9 friendly foreign countries completed their professional training.

Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Antony George (NM, VSM) graced the passing out parade as the Chief Guest of Southern Naval Command. After reviewing the passing out parade, he also presented trophies to the officers who performed better in specific areas.
About INS Shivaji Training School:-
Indian Naval Service Shivaji is an Indian Naval Station located in Lonavala, Maharashtra. This naval station was commissioned as HMIS INS Shivaji on 15 February 1945. It is located close to the Indian Naval Station Munshi Dam and is spread over 876 acres of land.INS Shivaji was commissioned to train officers and sailors in the Indian Navy. Today, this training institute of the Indian Navy provides training in nuclear, biological, and chemical defence as well as marine engineering technology.
Presently the Commander of this Naval Station is Commodore ArvindRawal.There is a total of three major institutes of this institute.
- Center of Marine Engineering and Technology:- The center teaches introductory marine engineering and marine specialization courses to officers, sailors, and civilians.Before commissioning, the naval officers and the officers are trained in actual equipment fitment on warships.
- Naval College of Engineering:- It provides a B.Tech degree to seafarers and officers in four institutes.This institute is affiliated with JNU. It consists of a mix of DRDO scientists and naval officers.
- Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defence School:- In this training institute, officers and citizens are trained in the aspects and control of nuclear, biological, and chemical equipment.This institute has a world-class damage control letter in the East, whose name is Akshat.
In all three institutes of INS Shivaji, more than 2800 officers and more than 7800 sailors are trained every year. In the year 2020, this institute was awarded the prestigious President’s Color by the President of India, Hon’ble Ram Nath Kovind.
