DRDO CEPTAM Pay scale – Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official Notification inviting online applications under DRDO CEPTAM Recruitment 2022. The candidates are willing to know the DRDO CEPTAM pay scale, salary and other monetary and non-monetary benefits that one may get after joining the DRDO as Senior Technical Assistant B and Technician A position.

On August 24, 2022, the Defense Research and Development Organization issued a formal announcement inviting applications for the recruitment of 1901 Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-A (Tech-A) positions under the Technical Cadre of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRTC).

DRDO CEPTAM 10 Salary: Job Profile, Other Benefits
The application period for the DRDO CEPTAM STA B and Technician A will open on September 3 and run through September 23. We have discussed the salary, job description, compensation, and other topics related to the DRDO Salary Structure and Job Profile in this post.
According to the 7th Pay Commission, the pay scale for DRDO STA B would be pay matrix level 6, and for Technician A, it will be pay matrix level 2.
Candidates will also receive other benefits, such as medical facilities, CSD facilities, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transportation allowance, children’s education allowance, leave travel concession, and other benefits in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission, in addition to their salary.

DRDO CEPTAM Annual Salary
The 7th Pay Commission established the DRDO CEPTAM Salary and Job Profile, and the specifics are shown below for the positions STA B, Technician A, and MTS.
- The pay matrix for STA B is Level 6, and the monthly compensation ranges from INR 35,400 to 1,12,400 plus allowances. As a result, the annual salary is roughly 7.2 lakhs per annum (approx).
- The pay matrix is Level 2 for Technician A, and the monthly compensation ranges from INR 19,900 to 63,200 plus allowances. The yearly compensation, therefore, ranges from INR 2,38,800 to INR 7,58,400 per annum (approx).
- The monthly salary range for MTS is between INR 18,000 and 56,000 plus allowances.

DRDO CEPTAM STA B In-hand Salary
The base pay and the allowances are added together to get the in-hand salary for the DRDO STAB position, which is then determined by deducting expenses like PF, NPS, and income tax. The DRDO STA B position’s final in-hand salary ranges from INR 48,218 to 1,44,914. (approx).
DRDO Technician A In-hand Salary
