13TH SENIOR COMMANDERS’ MEETING
After Galwan incident both armies (India& China) met for 13th round of Commanders talk. Meeting was held at Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on 10th October 2021.Discussion was focused on resolution of the remaining issues in Eastern Ladakh, LAC. India stated that meeting was headed by 4 Corps commander Lt-General P G K Menon and the South Xinjiang Military District chief and this meeting was not fruitful .
Bathukamma festival begins in Telangana

Bathukamma is a colourful and vibrant festival of Telangana and celebrated by women, with flowers that grow exclusively in each region. This festival is a symbol of Telangana’s cultural identity. It is a festival of 9 days.
The nine-day floral festival has begun in Telangana. The festival began with excitement as the women were dressed in traditional clothes and colourful processions were carried out in Telangana, the Bathukamma festival is celebrated during Durga Navratri. Bathukamma festival begins on the day of Mahalaya Amavasya and the festival continues till nine days, ending on the day of Durgashtami.

PM Modi launched Indian Space Association
In order to boost the local space-related industry, PM Narendra Modi launched the Indian Space Association (ISpA) on Monday at 11 am. He interacted with industry players during the launch programme.
In an official statement, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said, “Echoing the prime minister’s vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, the ISpA will help in making India self-reliant, technologically advanced and a leading player in the space arena.”
ISpA is represented by leading homegrown and global corporations with advanced capabilities in space and satellite technologies.
Its founding members include Larson & Toubro, Nelco (Tata Group), OneWeb, Bharti Airtel, Mapmyindia, Walchandnagar Industries and Ananth Technology Limited. Other core members include Godrej, Hughes India, Azista-BST Aerospace Private Limited, BEL, Centum Electronics and Maxar India.
