Construction of 5th Nuclear Power Unit at Kudankulam
Russia started construction of fifth nuclear power unit at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu on June 29, 2021. Rosatom (a Russian company) is giving tech. edge for this project Kudankulam plant. This plant has six units each having 1,000 MWe generation capacity. It is going to be India’s first light water reactor. This nuclear power plant is the largest nuclear power of India. It is located in Kudankulam town in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu.

Anshula Rao first woman cricketer to get dope ban

Madhya Pradesh women allrounder Anshula Rao has been suspended from cricket for four years with this she became the Indian woman cricketer who faced ban, backdated to July 2020, for failing a dope test in March 2020.
Anshula, an under-23 cricketer who hasn’t yet played for MP’s senior team, is understood to have tested positive for 19-Norandrosterone, a performance-enhancing steroid that is “prohibited at all times” for athletes under the world anti-doping code.
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 to be Held in UAE & OMAN

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed that the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 will be staged in the UAE and Oman due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in India. The BCCI will remain the hosts of the event, which will now be held in Dubai International Stadium, the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the Sharjah Stadium, and the Oman Cricket Academy Ground, from 17 October to 14 November 2021. Cricket fans from across the world are invited to Oman and the UAE to ‘Live the Game’ at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021
