INS Trikand is a Talwar-class stealth frigate of the Indian Navy. Commissioned on 29 June 2013, it is one of the most advanced warships in the Indian Navy’s fleet, capable of operating in all types of naval warfare scenarios.

Over 50 nations and international maritime agencies are participating in the exercise, with the aim of improving maritime security and ensuring the safety of the region’s sea lanes for maritime commerce.
IMX/CE-23 is one of the world’s largest multinational maritime exercises. INS Trikand’s participation in this exercise marks the Indian Navy’s first involvement in IMX and its second participation in a Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) exercise. Previously, in November 2022, INS Trikand participated in the CMF-led Operation Sea Sword 2.
