Indian army is all about Duty, Service, Pride, Prestige and Respect. To think this way would definitely not be a justification to the lives we lost. Indian army is also about the Hard work, Struggle, Sleepless nights and Sacrifice of our brave soldiers.

The sacrifice they make cannot be expressed in words. Not only the army personnel but also their family members. The bravery they showcase in their hard times is beyond description.

I salute all the mothers with such courageous demeanour. Recent incident of Jammu and Kashmir has left us all speechless.

Five army personnel, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), and two militants were killed in three encounters in regions of Jammu and Kashmir.

The warriors lost their lives in terminating by militants in a town near Dera Ki Gali (DKG) in Surankote area of the border region of Poonch after the military and police dispatched a joint activity following insight inputs about the presence of ultras who had invaded from across the Line of Control (LoC).

The two aggressors were killed and a police officer was harmed during experiences in Anantnag and Bandipora regions.

On the mediating evening of October 10 and 11, a counter-terrorist oppressor activity was dispatched by Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in the area of Shahdara, close to the limit of Poonch-Rajouri locale in J&K.

During the conduct of the activity, militants cut down a weighty volume of fire on Army troops prompting lethal wounds to one JCO and four fighters.

The brave hearts who were martyred are: Naib Subedar (JCO) Jaswinder Singh, a recipient of Sena Medal, Naik Mandeep Singh, Sepoys Gajjan Singh, Saraj Singh and Vaisakh H.
The nation would never forget the sacrifices of our brave hearts. It’s just because of them spending sleepless nights, that we get a sound sleep without worrying about anything.

Though not physically but you will be always alive in our hearts. JAI HIND.
