The NDA exam is one of the best ways to join the Indian Armed forces as an Officer right after the 12th. Any person who has done their 12th with physics and Mathematics and has aged less than 19 years are eligible to apply for this. one will have to clear the written exam and SSB Interview and then medical test to be a cadet in the National Defense Academy. The Syllabus of the National Defense Academy’s written exam is a bit broad and hard to the entire syllabus at a time.
Exam Pattern of NDA 1/2020:
The Written exam of the National defense academy would have two papers and clearing the first paper is mandatory for the second paper to be checked. we will see the exam pattern of NDA written examination in the given column below:

- All the questions would be in objective Type question with the Multiple choice answers.
- A candidate will be given 2.5 hours for each paper.
- In the Maths section, You will be given 2.5 marks for each right answer.
- In the GAT section, You will be given 4 marks for each right answer.
- There would be also negative Marking for each wrong answer. A candidate will be deducted 0.33% marks for each wrong response.
Marking scheme of NDA 1/2020:
The Paper of NDA would be two sections: The First section would be mathematics and the second section would be GAT (General Ability Test).
Mathematics:
- Total No. of questions: 120
- Maximum Marks: 300
- Time duration: 2.5 hours
- A candidate will be given 2.5 marks for each right answer.
- 0.33% of marks will be deducted for each wrong response.
General Ability Test:
- Total No. of questions: 150
- Maximum Marks: 600
- Time Duration: 2.5 Hours
- A candidate will be given 4 marks for each right answer.
- 0.33% of marks will be deducted for each wrong response.
