Indian Coast Guard (Assistant Commandant) Notification Out

Introduction:

The Indian Coast Guard invited the applications for both male and female candidates to join as assistant commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted officer) .  

Joining Indian Coast guard is the dream of millions of aspirants out who are willing to join Indian armed forces and serve in the Indian Defence forces.

Candidate have clear two stages in order to get the job in ICG. The two stages include Prelims and Mains examination.

Prelim examination contains Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

After the Prelims examination a merit list, be prepared for the shortlisted candidates and after the medical examination is conducted for the final selection.

(b)Commercial Pilot     Entry (CPL-SSA)Born      between 01 Jul 1997 to 30    Jun     2003 (Both         date included) Male/ FemaleCandidates holding current /valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued/ validated by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). (ii) Atleast 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths in 12th class. or Three   year   diploma   course    with   an aggregate of 60%.

Note:

(i)        Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates as per Govt. of India rules in vogue.

  • Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates. No relaxation is applicable for 12th class marks.
  • Income certificate for EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) as per Government of India format (no other format will be entertained).
  • Indian Coast Guard reserves the right to fix the cut off percentage for issue of PSB call up letters.

Vacancy:

There are total of 40 vacancies of GD post and 10 post in the Technical Branch..

Eligibility Criteria

While short listing applications for call-up, priority will be given to candidates with higher percentage of marks in the degree.

Only candidates cleared their final year/ final semester exams and completed their degrees are to apply.

Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service training academy are not eligible to appear.

Candidates should not have been arrested, convicted or prosecuted on criminal charges.

How to Apply

Applications will be accepted only ‘Online’ tentatively from 1200 hrs on 06 Dec to 17 Dec 2021 upto 1730 hrs for the above said posts. The important instructions for filling up of the online applications

The name of the candidate, father/mother’s name and date of birth should be same as mentioned in the Xth class passing certificate. Any mismatch in name & date of birth in the application will result in rejection of the application

Indicate exact percentage of XIIth and Graduation marks upto two decimals and this is not to be rounded off.

Candidates to choose any one venue for PSB out of the options displayed

Filling up of information like personal email ID and Mobile number of the candidate is compulsory. The date, time and venue of the test and other information will be informed through personal email ID or CG Recruitment website.

Applicants, either current or permanent address of online application should be same as the address mentioned in caste/category certificate (SC, ST, OBC & EWS).
