AFCAT Eligibility 2022:-
Flying Branch:- Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
1. Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
2. BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University with a
minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
3. Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:- Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches:-
Administration& Logistics:- Passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree (Minimum
three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks.
Accounts Branch:- Passed 10+2 and done graduation in any of the
following streams with 60 % marks or equivalent from a recognized university.
- B. Com Degree (Min three years course)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Management Studies (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Business Studies (with specialization in Finance)
- Qualified CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA.
- B.Sc. with specialization in Finance

Age limit for AFCAT 2022:-
There are three branches in the Air force and the age limit is different for each branch. I have mentioned the age below Branch wise:-
- Flying Branch:- 20 to24yrs years.
- Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch:- 20 to 26yrs old.
AFCAT 1 2022 Exam Selection Process:-
- Written Examination
- EKT examination (For Ground Duty Technical)
- AFSB Interview
- Medical Examination
AFCAT Written Exam 2022 Pattern:-
- Mode of exam –Online
- Total no. of questions –100
- The time duration of 2 hours (120minutes)
- Each question would be carrying 3 marks
- 3 marks would be given for every right answer
- Negative marking– 1 marks would be deducted for the wrong answer.
- No marks will be deducted for un-attempt questions.

It is mandatory for the candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both AFCAT Written Exam 2022 as well as Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
AFCAT 1 2022 Exam Date:-
Indian Air force releases the AFCAT Vacancy 2022 for the recruitment of officers in Technical and ground duty. Airforce conducts AFCAT exam twice a year. According to the Indian Airforce official website the AFCAT Written Exam Date, 2022 will be conducted from 12 Feb 2022 to 14 Feb 2022.

AFCAT Syllabus 2022:-
English:- Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct word, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary, Idioms and Phrases.
General Awareness:- History, Geography, Civics, Politics, Current Affairs, Environment, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Sports, etc.
Numerical Ability:- Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple Interest, Time & Distance (Trains/Boats & Streams).
The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level (Indian University).
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test:- Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.
