To be eligible for the AFCAT 2 2024 Exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

(a) Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India according to the Indian citizenship act, 1955.

(b) Age Criteria for Different Posts:

  1. Flying Branch: Candidates must be between 20 to 24 years old as of 01 January 2025, meaning they must have been born between 02 January 2001 to 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive). However, candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) can be up to 26 years old, meaning they must have been born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
  2. Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: Candidates must be between 20 to 26 years old as of 01 January 2025, meaning they must have been born between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive).
