Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) this exam which is conducted Indian Air force itself for the recruitment of officers in their following branches like Flying Branch, Technical Branch, and Ground duty officers. How to qualify AFCAT written exam?

AGE Limit for AFCAT

  1. Age limit for flying branch:- 20 to  24yrs years.
  2. Age limit for technical and ground duty officers:- 20 to 26 yrs old.

Eligibility Criteria of AFCAT

  • Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
  • Candidate must have a graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks.
  • Candidate appearing in the final semester or year can also apply.
  • Candidate should have physics and mathematics in class 12th
  • Candidate below the age of 25 must be unmarried before the commencement of the course.

AFCAT Exam Pattern-

  • Mode of exam -Online
  • Total no. of questions -100
  • The time duration of 2 hours (120minutes)
  • Each question would be carrying 3 marks
  • 3 marks would be given for every right answer
  • 1 marks would be deducted for the wrong answer
  • No marks will be deducted for un-attempt questions
 Syllabus of AFCAT
  • General Awareness -25marks
  • English -25marks
  • Numerical Ability -25marks
  • Reasoning and military aptitude test- 25marks

If you are eligible for Technical Branch then you have to appear for  EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test).
