Exam pattern of AFCAT 2020:-
The Selection of the Candidates would be in three phases:-
- Computer-Based Test(Online Test)
- AFSB Interview
- Medical Test
First, the Candidate has to appear for the Online test and after that, the candidates who would qualify the CBT will be called for the AFSB interview. AFSB interview is completely the same as SSB, Indian air force do everything itself for the that’s why air force has given name as AFSB (Air Force Selection Board).
How to qualify AFCAT written exam?
How to apply for AFCAT 2020:-
The process of Applying for AFCAT is completely Online. There is no offline service. You have to go to the official website of the Indian Air Force.
To apply online first register yourself on the official website of the Indian Air Force which is www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in or www.afcat.cdac.in and register yourself and then you will get login ID password, then login to your account and do as said in the instruction.
- Fill the form
- upload documents
- make payment
- check your form status.
Remember your login ID Password till you get you to admit card.
- Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centers.
- Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- as examination fee.
- Candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay.
- Details of conduct of exam, examination centers and mode of payment are available in the notification.

Documents required for AFCAT online Application:-
While applying inline for any exam, you must have these following documents, you have to upload these documents while applying online. you must have scanned copy of:-
- High school mark sheet
- Intermediate mark sheet
- Aadhaar card
- Caste certificate if you are OBC or SC/ST
- Scanned passport size photo.
- Your Scanned signature
- Your scanned left-hand thumb impression(Male)
- Right-hand Thumb for Female.
How to prepare for AFCAT (Online Test 2020):-
To prepare for AFCAT is simple. This is an Online Exam, you might have a problem with this because our mind doesn’t work as properly as it works in the pen-paper mode examination. You must be habitual of solving questions in front of the screen. first of all, make yourself better in front of the screen, once I had gone for the online exam, I had prepared so well for that, but I could attend as mush question as should have attended. I had a solution of all the questions, I just wanted a pen paper and proper bench, So I would suggest you solve the question in your computer or laptop instead of solving that in pen paper. here are few points to consider for the examination:-
- Manage your time properly because you would have less time. I think around 1 minute for each question.
- Solve previous year question paper as much as you can.
- Solve the easiest portion first.
- Try to solve the maximum question.
- Don’t waste your time on difficult questions, just skip for the last.
- Prepare your syllabus accordingly, don’t study over. OR
