Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) has recently released the notification for the selection of the candidate into the Air Force Academy. This exam is conducted by the Air force itself for the recruitment of officers in their following braches like Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground duty officers(non-technical). Here in this article, we will discuss the AFCAT 2020 Notification which is for the January 2021 Batch. we will also get to know the AFCAT 2020 Exam Date, AFCAT Eligibility Criteria and also Age Limit for AFCAT, AFCAT 2020 Exam Pattern

This vacancy is for the Selection of the officer in the Academy. The written exam would be conducted online and for the Technical Branch candidate will have to give one more exam which is the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) by this they test your knowledge and eligibility for the technical branch. The candidate will have to clear both AFCAT + EKT in order to join the technical branch. we will discuss everything related to the exam below:-

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria:-

Eligibility criteria is completely the same as it was earlier, the only changes are in Age limit for AFCAT EKT which I have mentioned below:-

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Candidate should have physics and mathematics in class 12^th
Candidate must have B.tech/B.E degree with 60% marks.
Only graduates can apply for this, or appearing in the final semester or year can also apply.
Candidate below the age of 25 must be unmarried before the commencement of the course.

Age limit for AFCAT:-

There are three branches in the Air force and the age limit is different for each branch. I have mentioned the age below Branch wise:-

Flying Branch:- 20 to24yrs years.
Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch:- 20 to 26yrs old.

AFCAT 2020 Exam Pattern:-

AFCAT exam 2020 would be conducted online. Candidates have to appear for the Computer-based test (CBT) I have mentioned all the details regarding the Exam pattern of AFCAT below:-

Mode of exam –Online
Total no. of questions –100
The time duration of 2 hours (120minutes)
Each question would be carrying 3 marks
3 marks would be given for every right answer
Negative marking– 1 marks would be deducted for the wrong answer.
No marks will be deducted for un-attempt questions.

The question paper would be divided into four parts. Each part would be for 25 marks, I have mentioned the details in the Chart below:-

AFCAT Entry: 250/- for All Candidates.
There is no any Relaxation will be given to any caste or community for the exam fees.

AFCAT 2020 Exam Date:-

AFCAT exam would be conducted online and the exam date for the AFCAT, The Exam Date for the AFCAT is not yet available on the official website yet. Air Force Selection Board has not yet announced the Exam Date of AFCAT 2020, I think, I will be announced after the submission of the application form.
