Aerial Target ‘ABHYAS’

Current Affairs for Defence Exams

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight-tested the High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT)- ABHYAS. This test was conducted from Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur off the coast of Bay of Bengal in Odisha. 

ABHYAS is designed & developed by DRDO laboratory, Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Bengaluru, for the Indian Armed Forces.

67th National Film Awards was held at Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan on Monday. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu presented this award.

Kangana Ranaut receives the Best Actress award for “Manikarnika” and “Panga”. Dhanush and Manoj Bajpayee receive the Best Actor award for “Asuran” and “Bhonsle” respectively.
