A Special Forces Team of the Indian Army with 9 members took part in Multinational Special Forces Exercise Cormorant Strike XI held at Sri Lanka from 03 to 30 Sep 2021. Unique Forces groups of six nations took part in the activity. Troops from the Special Forces Group of Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Pakistan, and Nepal took part in the activity.
The Exercise Cormorant Strike is MULTINATIONAL SPECIAL FORCE EXERCISE of the chief Field Training Exercise (FTX) of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.
The eleventh Edition has been solely intended for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) in a joint setting to assemble collaboration with different Arms and Sister Services.
