Every year Union public service commission conducts the exam of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) for the post of Assistant Commandant (AC).

The purpose of this examination is filling the vacancies in five different types of forces namely –

  1. Central Industrial Security force {CISF}
  2. Central Reserve Police Force {CRPF}
  3. Border Security Forces {BSF}
  4. Indo – Tibetan Border police {ITBP}
  5. Sashastra Seema Bal {SSB}

The exam includes three stages, the first stage includes written examination held all over India for both the male and female candidates,

Second stage include physical fitness test according the standards set by the commission.

The third and final stage is Personality test in which candidates are tested on various parameters such as decision-making capabilities.

CAPF AC Interview 2021

This year the Interview is scheduled for the total of 656 candidates, given the three to four dates (6 December – 10 December), (13 Dec. – 17 Dec.) and (20 Dec. – 24 Dec.).

Candidates are advised to visit the official website of UPSC i.e., upsc.gov.in

 In order to download their e-admit cards for future reference and get the full information regarding their procedure of personality test.   

UPSC has issued the guidelines for candidates concerning the documents to bring at the reporting date.

Documents to bring in CAPF Interview 2021

  1. The first and foremost is your admit card printout.
  2. Candidates are required to carry 8 to 10 identical photographs for verification procedure
  3. Bring your one identity proof like Adhaar card, voter ID card or your pan card whichever is clear and valid
  4. All the candidates are required to bring your original documents with a copy depicting your date of birth, educational qualification, caste and community certificate etc. necessarily at the time of your scheduled Interview otherwise you will not be allowed to give your interview.

Additional Guidelines related to COVID – 19

  1. It is mandatory for all the candidates to maintain social distancing and hygiene in the premises.
  2. Candidate are required to brings their negative report of RT-PCR test with them which should be in duration of 48 hours to the time of reporting.
  3. All the candidates have to wear face mask every time in the UPSC premises and remove only when instructed to do so.

Detailed Application Form (DAF)

DAF which is also called the Detailed Application Form is very significant documents to fill by the candidates shortlisted for the Interview

After clearing written examination and physical fitness test.

Detailed Application Form represent everything of candidate from the beginning of the career till the time. Hence the candidates are advised to fill the form very carefully

Because 70 to 80 % of the question of the Interview is being asked for the detailed application form filled by the candidate.

CAPF Examination structure

The first round is written exam which consist of 2 papers that is Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Paper 1 of the examinations is consisted of 125 question of objective type which carry 250 marks that is to be completed in duration of 2 hours.

Paper 2 is of descriptive nature which consist of 6 essay topics in this candidate have to write the essay on any 4 topics of their choice.

Second is the 2 arguments topics mainly focusing on current issues of duration of 1 year to the exam.

Next the candidate has to write reports on two topics after that fourth question carries precis writing on two given topics and the last two questions contains Reading comprehension or passage and grammar.

Note –

It is to be noted that if female candidate is pregnant at time of physical fitness test she will be disqualify.

Expected Result of CAPF Interview 2021

As per the official notice by the UPSC the interview is scheduled in the month of December, so the candidates can expect the final result declaration in the month of January or mid-February accordingly.  

The notification for the result will be released by the UPSC on the official website that is upsc.gov.in
