Age Limit:-

  • The minimum age of the candidate to apply should be 20 years and a maximum of 24 years.
  • For commercial Pilot License holder’s age limit is 20 years to up to 26 years.
  • For Ground duty, the minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 26 years.

For Marital Status: – If any candidate is under the age of 25 and unmarried, then he/she starts the course. Widows/ Widowers, as well as divorcees and she, was under the age of 25, are ineligible.

Application fee:-

  • To fill out the application form candidates must have to pay the examination fee through online mode.
  • The application fee is Rs. 250 for Male (General and OBC) candidates.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
  • Candidates who do not have or do not have the facility can also make their payment through SBI by making a challan.

Selection Process:-

After filling out the application form Airforce common admission test (AFCAT), the candidates must know about the selection process. During the selection process, first of all, the candidates are issued the admit card after 2 months of filling out the application form. Through the admit card, the candidates appear in the written examination of AFCAT, after which the qualified candidates have to go through the AFSB interview. The pattern of Written Exam:-

The candidates who will give this exam for the first time must know about the exam pattern.

  • AFCATWritten is online and the AFSB Interview exam is conducted offline.
  • In a written exam, you get 2 hours to solve the question paper.
  • All questions in the written Exam paper are multiple-choice.
  • The written question paper consists of 300 marks in Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Military and 900 marks in the AFSB interview.
  • For the EKT Written exam, you get 45 min to solve 50 questions in the paper. This paper consists of 150 marks for the technical group.
  • The complete AFCAT exam i.e. Written Exam and AFSB Interview is 1200 marks.
  • For each wrong answer, 1/3marksare deducted from your correct answer.
  • In a written exam paper, all questions are asked in the exam in both Hindi and English languages.

  • For English Section: – There are 20 questions and its level are moderate to difficult. In this paper, candidates solve comprehension, synonym and antonym, cloze test, idioms and phrases, and error spotting related questions.
  • For GK Section:- in this section candidates face Indian History, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Polity, Economics, Geography, and current affairs related questions. All question-level are easy to moderate.
