Indian Air Force declared AFCAT-1 and EKT result on 8th April, 2017. The Air Force Common Entrance Exam held on 26th Feburary,2017 discloses there result globally. Candidate can check their result on an official website www.careerairforce.nic.in
AFCAT-1 Entrance exam is conducted for admission in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches of Indian Air Force. AFCAT-1 exam is followed by a EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) it is especially for those candidates applying for technical duty, EKT exam is given by engineering graduates either pass-outs or appearing . EKT is Carried out by Air Force Common Admission Test this is a simply to check the basic knowledge related to engineering. EKT is individually based on the branch of the candidate during graduation. Basically for mechanical, electrical and electronics branches. So It is important for the candidates to make balance and focus on both tests. Candidates should have knowledge with the previous year question papers, cut off marks etc. Since, the examination timing is only 2 hours so candidates need to focus more concentration on speed and accuracy of solving the questions. The examination was for 120 minutes that contain 100 questions.
+3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1 is deducted for each incorrect answer. AFCAT paper consist of 4 sections i.e. numerical ability, general awareness, verbal ability in English, reasoning and reasoning/aptitude test. Every year large numbers of candidates appear in this examination to get the higher marks and get qualified. Candidates those who are getting marks above cutoff they are said qualified for the written exam.

AFCAT-1 is 150 marks out of 300.
EKT 60 marks out of 150 for all engineering branches.
Aspirants who had given written exam and properly qualified they will get call letter for interview with in a month from the date of declaration of result . candidates don’t waste your time start preparation for interview and to tackle AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) task. check your mails regularly.
