The CRPF SI and ASI Recruitment 2023 examination will consist of a written examination (CBT), physical standard test/physical efficiency test, documents verification, and detailed medical examination (DME). To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must meet the age limit and educational qualification requirements as specified in the advertisement. Selection Process:-

Below are the different stages of the CRPF SI and ASI Recruitment 2023 examination:

  • Written Examination (CBT)
  • Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Documents Verification
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

CRPF Sub Inspector Exam Pattern 2023:-

Written Examination (CBT):

  • The written examination will be conducted in online mode.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
  • The question paper will consist of 200 Marks
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • The question paper will be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi.
  • The questions in the CBT will be from the following subjects:

Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

  • The PST/PET will be qualifying in nature.
  • Candidates who do not meet the required physical standards will be disqualified from the recruitment process.
  • The PST/PET will include measurements of height, chest, and weight for male candidates and height and weight for female candidates.
  • The PET will consist of events such as running, long jump, high jump, and shot put.

Documents Verification:

  • Candidates who qualify for the PST/PET will be called for documents verification.
  • Candidates are required to carry all the original documents at the time of verification.

Detailed Medical Examination (DME):

  • Candidates who are shortlisted after the documents verification will be called for the DME.
  • The DME will be conducted to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to perform the duties of a Sub Inspector in CRPF.

CRPF Sub Inspector Syllabus 2023:

General Intelligence & reasoning:-

The General Intelligence & Reasoning section of the CRPF SI exam would comprise of both verbal and non-verbal type questions. It may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, etc.

The topics covered under this section are Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, Symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing, etc.

General Knowledge and Awareness:-

The General Knowledge and Awareness component of the examination will consist of questions aimed at testing the candidate’s awareness of the environment around them and its application to society. The questions will also be designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of current events and matters of everyday observations and experience, particularly in their scientific aspects as expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially pertaining to their history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian Constitution, scientific research, and other relevant topics.
