AFCAT 2023 Cut off and Result Date

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. It is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Air Force for selecting officers in various branches of the Air Force, including Flying Branch, Technical Branch, and Ground Duty Branches. The exam is conducted twice a year, in February and August. AFCAT 2023 exam was conducted on 24,25,26 February 2023. The AFCAT exam assesses a candidate’s aptitude in areas such as Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Military Aptitude. The exam pattern includes multiple-choice questions, and the duration of the test is two hours.

Candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for further rounds of testing, which may include a Physical Fitness Test, Psychological Test, Group Discussion, and Interview. Based on their performance in these rounds, candidates are selected for training at various Air Force Training establishments.

AFCAT 2023 Result Date:-

After the written exam, the answer sheets of the candidates are evaluated, and the results are compiled. Once the result is compiled, it is uploaded on the official website of the Indian Air Force. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results by entering their login credentials.

The Indian Air Force usually announces the result of AFCAT within 45-60 days from the date of the exam. So it expected that the result may be announced in the month of April-May.

AFSB Process for Airforce AFCAT:-

After qualifying for the AFCAT exam, candidates are required to appear for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. The AFSB interview is conducted over a period of five days and consists of various tests, tasks, and group discussions to assess the candidate’s personality, aptitude, and suitability for a career in the Indian Air Force.

The AFSB interview is held at one of the Air Force Selection Boards located in Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, or Varanasi. During the interview process, candidates are evaluated based on various parameters such as communication skills, leadership qualities, physical fitness, and mental agility.

The AFSB interview consists of three stages:

  1. Stage 1: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP&DT)
  2. Stage 2: Psychological Test, Group Tests, and Interview
  3. Conference: This is the final stage of the interview process, where the candidates’ overall performance is assessed by a panel of officers.
