Hey Everyone! This is Akhleshwar Maurya. I have been recommended by 34 SSB Allahabad in my fourth attempt through NDA 149 Entry on 14th August 2022. Today I am going to share with you my success story. My whole journey full of inspiration is enough to get the fire back in you towards the achievement of your goals. So let’s begin.

I am from Pratapgarh and have completed my schooling at Prayagraj (Allahabad). It was my 4th attempt after 3 unsuccessful attempts. In my first three attempts, I got screened out from three different entries. They were NDA entry, army TES entry, and Navy TES entry.

How I Felt After 3 Unsuccessful Attempts?

Most of you might get disheartened and feel that maybe this is not made for me. But I never had such a feeling because I was learning from my experiences. With all three attempts, I got to know three different mistakes that I was making during the Services Selection Board Interview. Those three mistakes were as follows:

My first attempt at the SSB Interview was from Army TES entry from Bangalore. It was all luck and was not serious at all. I performed my best but maybe I was not good enough for the SSB Interview.
On my second attempt through NDA entry from Gandhinagar, well there my OIR was not good and that’s why I got rejected.
On my third attempt, the Discussion part of the story didn’t go well.

Here is what I did Instead of trying for Air Force entry, I decided to go for army entry.

A total of 56 candidates were reported, and 27 got screened out of these 17 were freshers. Finally, there were 6 recommendations out of these 3 were repeaters, and 3 were freshers.

My Favorite Part

My favourite and the best part was the GTO tasks. Group Testing Officers. The GTO officer was a lady officer, very cool, calm, and composed. There were basically 2 GTOs one male and one female. The lady officer took my command task. Three of the members called me for their command task. I could not lift the plank.

My Interview

My interview was the longest and took around 1.5 hours. Firstly it was a rapid-fire round and continuously nine questions were asked. And I could successfully answer 8 of them. At MKC the wing commander already told me to be prepared for the same.
