Technical Graduate Course Entry (TGC Entry)
To apply for Technical Graduate Course Entry (TGC Entry), candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification:- At the time of filling out this application form, the candidate must have passed an engineering degree or is studying in the final year. Only these candidates can fill out this application form. Candidates studying in the final year will have to produce their passing certificate during the commencement of the course. Must submit your engineering degree within approximately 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at the Indian Military Academy.
Age Limit:- Candidate’s minimum age should be 20 years and a maximum of 27 years to fill this application form.No relaxation in the age limit will be given for any particular category.
Selection Process: – The Integrated Headquarters of the Member of Defence shortlists the submitted applications to select the candidates. They decide the cut-off for each engineering subject based on the percentage of marks scored by the candidates without assigning any reason. After shortlisting candidates are sent intimation for allotment of SSB centre on their email and registered mobile number. During the SSB interview, the physical and medical parameters of the candidates are checked after which they are presented with the joining letter.
Indian Army SSC Technical Entry Scheme
Through the Short Service Commission in the Indian Army, candidates are allowed to serve for a fixed period only. During this, the candidate is allowed to serve only 8 to 14 years. Primarily you can serve under SSC only for 8 years. You cannot retire from the Indian Army before serving in the Indian Army for 8 years without any major reason.

University Entry Scheme Entry (UES Entry)
The entry of the university admission scheme almost comes under the technical graduate course only. The selection process of the candidates through this application form is as follows:-Preliminary Screening Test:- For this, the candidate has to appear in his/her university college. The list of students who appeared in the college is sent by the officials to the head command where the cutoff is declared by the high command.
SSB Interview:-The candidates selected by the cut-off are called for an SSB interview.SSB interview is one of the toughest interviews in the Indian Army and it is conducted for almost 5 days.
