Union Public Service Commission Delays NDA, NA Exam (II) Notice
UPSC or Union Public Service Commission has delayed the announcement of notification for NDA (National Defence Academy), NA (Naval Academy) Exam (II) 2020.
New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission has delayed the announcement of notification for National Defence Academy, Naval Academy or NDA, NA Exam (II) 2020. The notice which was due to be released today will now be issued on June 16, 2020. The examination is conducted for admission to the Navy, Army, and Air Force wings of the NA/NDA Course.
Though the Commission grips NDA and NA examination twice a year. This year Union Public Service Commission has decided to hold both the examinations together.
“A common test for both NDA and NA Exam (I) and NDA/NA Exam (II), 2020 will be conducted on 06.09.2020,”
The commission has informed when it issued the revised calendar for recruitment examinations to be directed this year.
NDA /NA (I) examination notice was announced on January 8 and the examination was planned to be conducted on April 19. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the examination was delayed.
The application window for the NDA, NA Exam (II) will be open for approximately 20 days.
Union Public Service Commission, today, declared the notice for Indian Statistical Service Exam 2020. The UPSC, however, will not be holding the Indian Economic Service Exam (IESE) this year. Since zero jobs were testified for the said recruitment by the Ministry of Finance.

Allowance in Case of Disablement or case of Death
The following financial benefits are accessible to the Cadets (Direct)/NoKs in the event of impairment on medical grounds/death of a Cadet (Direct) because of causes attributable to or intensified by army training:
IN CASE OF DISABLEMENT
- Monthly Ex-gratia amount of Rs. 9,000/- P.M.
- Ex-gratia disability award @ Rs. 16200/- P.M. will be billed also for 100% of disability amid a period of impairment subject to prorate discount in case the degree of impairment is less than 100%. No disability award will be billed in cases where the degree of disablement is fewer than 20%.
- Constant Attendant Allowance (CCA) @ Rs 6750/- P.M. for 100% deactivate on the endorsement of the Invaliding Medical Board (IBM).
IN CASE OF DEATH
- Ex-gratia amount of Rs. 12.5 lakhs to the NoK.
- The Ex-gratia amount of Rs. 9000/- P.M. to the NoK.
- The Ex-gratia awards to Cadets (Direct) / NoK, shall be certified purely on the ex-gratia basis and the same shall not be preserved as pension for any purpose. But, dearness respite at appropriate rates shall be settled on regular ex-gratia and ex-gratia disability award.
INSURANCE COVER
Army Group Insurance Fund offers insurance protection of Rs. 15 lakhs on payment of the one-time non-refundable amount of Rs. 7,200/- by cadets from the date of joining for pre-commission training for 3 years. In case a cadet is downgraded a further amount of Rs. 1,355/- per demoted term is charged.
Cadets who are canceled out by IMB on account of disability and not permitted to any pension will be offered Rs. 15 lakhs. This will be respectively summary to disability up to 20 percent. Yet, for less than 20% disability, and Ex-Gratia Grant of Rs. 50,000/- for the first few years of training and Rs. 1 lakh amid the last year of training will be provided.
The Gentlemen Cadets at IMA while in receipt of salary are covered for Rs. 75 lakhs as pertinent to officers of the Regular Army. Those who are annulled out by IMB due to disability and not permitted to any pension will be offered Rs. 25 Lakhs. This will be proportionally condensed to Rs. 5 lakhs for 20% disability. And, for less than 20 percent disability, and Ex-Gratia Grant of Rs. 50,000/- for the first year of training and Rs 1 lakh amid the last year of training will be provided. Subscription at the rate of Rs. 5,000/- is being charged in advance every month from Lady/Gentlemen Cadets.
