UPSC calendar 2020 has been released for various defence examination along with notification date, last date for receipt of application and examination date. All major defence service examinations are conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Following is the list of examination to be held between October 2019- October 2020. Major Kalshi Classes is requesting all its followers to take note of the examination date and plan it accordingly. Interested candidates can fill up the online application and start preparing for the examination.
NDA/NA I Examination: NDA exams are conducted by UPSC twice in a year for recruitment of candidates in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and the Indian Air Force. It is a national level exam. The NDA exams are usually held in the month of April and September. Only unmarried candidates aged between 16 to 19 years are eligible to apply for this course.
As per the UPSC calendar 2020, the NDA I exams will be held on 19th April, 2020. The notification date for the exam will come on 8 January, 2020 with last date to apply for the exam is 28 January 2020.
CDS I Examination: The Combined Defence Service examination are conducted in a year twice by UPSC for induction of candidates in the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Airforce Academy and the Officers Training Academy. The notifications for this exam are usually released in the months of October and June and the exams are held in the months of February and November respectively.
UPSC Calendar 2020 releases dates that CDS I exam will held on 2nd February 2020. The notification date for the exam will come on 30th October 2019 with last date of application as 19th November 2019.
Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Exam: The Central Armed Police Forces consists of the sevensecurity forces in India under the control of Ministry of home affairs. These seven security forces are Assam Rifles (AR), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Security Guard (NSG), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) respectively.
The CAPF exams are conducted once in a year by UPSC. As per the latest UPSC Calendar 2020, the CAPF exam will held on 9th August, 2020. The notification for the exam will release on 22nd April 2020 with the last date to apply is 12th May 2020.
NDA/NA II Examination: As per the UPSC Calendar 2020, the NDA II exam will be conducted on 6th September 2020 with last date to apply is 30th June 2020. The notification for the exam will release on 10th June 2020.
CDS II Examination: The CDS II exam will be held on 8th November 2020 as per the UPSC Calendar 2020. The notification for the same will come on 5th August 2020 with last date to apply is 25th August 2020.
