The Selection Process of the direct entries is a bit different from the other vacancy of the Indian Armed Forces. In order to become an Officer, You need to clear the Written Examination and Service Selection Board Interview, etc. But in the direct Entries, there is no written examination, the selection will be done through the SSB Interview or Service Selection Board Interview.
TGC 131 SSB Procedure, How to Prepare for TGC SSB
The shortlisting of the candidates for the SSB Interview will be done on the basis of marks scored in the last Qualifying Examination. All the candidates who want to apply for the Direct Entries, Make sure that you score better in the last Qualifying exams. So, the Selection process of Direct Entries will be like:
- Shortlisting of the candidate on the basis of Marks.
- SSB (Service Selection Board) Interview
- Medical Test etc.

Indian Navy UES (University Entry Scheme June 2019)
These are the entries available in the Indian Armed forces. Let’s see the complete eligibility Criteria of each entry.
Technical Entry Scheme 10+2:
All the candidates who have passed class 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and have scored more than 75% are eligible to apply for this. The age of the candidate must be between 17 years old to 21 years old.
Technical Graduate Course:
All the candidates who are technical Graduates who have done B.E or B.Tech and have scored 55% marks or more are eligible to apply for this entry. The age of the candidate must be between 19 years old to 24 years old.
TGC 132 Cut off, what is Technical Graduate Course Cut off
SSC Technical Entry:
The eligibility is the same as TGC Entry. All the candidates who are technical Graduates who have done B.E or B.Tech and have scored 55% marks or more are eligible to apply for this entry. The age of the candidate must be between 19 years old to 24 years old.
Indian Army SSC Tech Entry Eligibility, Selection Process and Age limit
University Entry Scheme of Navy and Army:
This entry is a bit different. All the candidates who are technical Graduates who have done B.E or B.Tech. The first round of selection may be done at the campus. The first phase of selection may be different every year. Check the latest notification for more updates. This entry is also in the list of Direct Entry in Defense.
NCC Special Entry Scheme:
This entry only for the candidate who has done NCC and Has an NCC-C division certificate. They can directly appear for the SSB Interview. The age of the candidate also depends on the type of vacancy. If you are appearing for this entry after the 12th. the age must be 17 years old to 19 years old. And if you are appearing after graduation. The age must be between 19 years old to 24 years old.
NCC Special Entry Scheme 46th Course
Fast Track Selection of IAF:
This entry is only available in the Indian Air force. All the postgraduate candidates can apply for the Meteorology branch of the Indian Air force. This also comes in the List of Direct Entry in Defense through SSB Interview.
