Navy Agniveer Navy Vacancy
A total of 200 vacancies have been released under the Agniveer Navy MR recruitment 2022. Out of the 200 vacancies 40 have been reserved for female candidates.
- Agniveer (MR) – Chef
You will be required to prepare food as per the menu (vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products), and account for ration. In addition, you will also be trained in firearms and will be allotted other duties for the efficient running of the organization. - Agniveer (MR) – Steward
You would be required to serve food in the Officers’ messes as waiters, housekeeping, accounting funds, wine and stores, preparation of the menu, etc. In addition, you will also be trained in firearms and will be allotted other duties for the efficient running of the organization. - Agniveer (MR) – Hygienist
They will be required to maintain hygiene in washrooms and other areas. In addition, you will also be trained in firearms and will be allotted other duties for the efficient running of the organization
Indian Navy MR Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should fulfill some minimum eligibility criteria when it comes to Navy MR Recruitment 2022.
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India
Age Limit
Candidates should be born between 01 Dec 1999- 31 May 2005 (Both dates inclusive)
Marital Status
Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in the Indian Navy. Candidates must undertake not to marry until completion of their ab-initio training.
A candidate may be dismissed from service if he/she marries during ab-initio training or is found to be already married in spite of giving an undertaking regarding the same.
Minimum Height
The minimum height standard for males is 157 cm and for females is 152 cm. The candidate must be in good physical and mental health, free from any disease/ disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions.

Indian Navy MR Exam Pattern
The written exam is conducted at the designated center on the promulgated date and time. The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type. The question paper will comprise two sections i.e. ‘Science & Mathematics’ and ‘General Awareness’.
The standard of the question paper will be of 10th level and the syllabus for the examination is available in the download section. The duration of the examination will be 30 minutes. The candidates will have to clear the sectional cut-off as well as the aggregate score.
Agniveer Navy MR Salary, Pay Scale & Seva Nidhi
Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress, and travel allowances will be paid.
Seva Nidhi
Agniveers shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package comprising their monthly contribution along with a matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:-

Note: -There shall be no entitlement to gratuity and pensionary benefits.
Life Insurance Cover.
Agniveer will be provided a non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement period.
Death Compensation.
In addition to insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakh, a one-time ex-gratia of Rs. 44 Lakh for death attributable to service, will be provided to the NOK.
Disability Compensation.
One time ex-gratia of Rs. 44/ 25/ 15 Lakh based on % of disability (100%/ 75%/ 50%) shall be applicable to Agniveers.
