Guidelines for RT-PCR report for SSB Reporting

As we know that Covid 19 situation still prevails but the world is getting back on track gradually, and so is our every career opportunity including career in Defence. When the whole world was suffering to somehow continue the normal lifestyle and was under lockdown and quarantine, our UPSC and Defence commissioned entry selection system managed to conduct written examinations and SSB interviews and issued Guidelines regarding that .

But in order to conduct all selection activities safely and without spreading corona virus, Selection centres have released some COVID GUIDELINES which are mandatory to be followed by candidates without fail to avoid any problem during reporting at their respective SSB centres.
I’ve covered all the important instructions and latest updates which you have to follow if you have SSB reporting in upcoming months.

NEW GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES WITH VACCINATION CERTIFICATE

RTPCR Report/ Vaccination Certificate

  • Candidates who have a vaccination certificate for two doses generated from COWIN platform and are asymptomatic on arrival will be exempted from carrying a negative RTPCR Report.
  • Service entry candidates who have a vaccination certificate issued by MH for two doses and are asymptomatic on arrival will be exempted from carrying a negative RTPCR report.
  • Any candidate (incl Service Entry candidate) who does not possess the vaccination certificate will be reqd to produce RTPCR negative report as in vogue. The RTPCR test should have been conducted within 72 hrs of reporting at the Selection Centre

GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE NOT FULLY VACCINATED YET

COVID-19 ADVISORY
  • Candidates will have Aarogya Satu app installed in their phones prior to leaving home station for selection center. Screen shot of having green status on the said app will be taken prior to leaving home. The same will be checked at the time of reporting at the selection center
  • Candidates will preferably not travel from any containment zones.
  • Nobody would be allowed to leave the premises for any documentation or getting photograph
  • Those candidates who are selected in stage I for stage II will not be allowed to go out of the selection centre premises for any purposes in view of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Candidates are advised to carry adequate clothing that will be required for their stay of two weeks in case recommended for selection as there shall be no laundry facilities till the pandemic is over. All candidates will carry their personal face masks, face shield, gloves, hand sanitiser and water bottles.
Guidelines

These guidelines has to be followed by every candidate who has SSB in coming months for any entry, may it be direct entry like NCC entry, SSC TECH, TES, JAG entry or may it be written entry like CDS , NDA ,AFCAT etc.
Do arrange all of your documents to avoid last minute rush or any disqualification because candidates are sent back from SSB centers even before screening for not having proper documents.
