David Diop wins International Booker Prize 2021
David Diop won the International Booker prize for translated fiction ‘At Night All Blood Is Black’. With this is become the first French novelist to win this award. The International Booker Prize, officially known as the Man Booker International Prize, has been awarded since 2005 its first recipient was Albanian writer Ismail Kadare. It is awarded to a novel written in English.

2021 Belgrade open won by Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic defeated Alex Molcan(Slovakia) in Belgrade Open tennis tournament 2021 and won this title. World number 1 Serbian player Djokovic captured the 83rd title of his career. He won this by 6-4, 6-3 in 88 minutes at the Novak Tennis Center.
Thomas Vijayan Wins Nature TTL Photographer of the Year 2021
Kerala’s man Thomas Vijayan now a resident of Canada, has won the 2021 Nature TTL Photography Awards for his photo of an Orangutan clinging to a tree. The photograph is titled ‘The World is Going Upside Down’.
In 8000 entries he made his name. He gets total prize of honour of 1500 pounds (Rs.1.5 Lakh). Nature TTL is the world’s leading online nature photography resource.
