How to calculate marks in CDS Answer Key 2 2021
First of all, take your question paper and download the respective set answer key and for further check below-
- Start with checking the questions you have done in the question paper of the CDS 2 2021 exam.
- Check the question paper set that you have.
- Now open the answer key of the question paper set that you have.
- Now on a rough sheet, write down how many answers that you have marked in the exam are correct and how many are wrong.
- Then once you get the number of correct and wrong questions done by you in the examination, but the values in the formula below:
1 X (no. of correct answers) – (1/3) X (no. of wrong answers)

How to Check Official CDS Answer Key 2 2021:
- Go to upsc.gov.in.
- The candidates have to look for the official answer key link that flashes on the home page.
- Click on the link and the PDF file opens on the next page.
- The candidates need to save the PDF file on their device(mobile or laptop) and check the answers.
Note: The candidates may check the unofficial CDS 2/2021 Answer Key posted by Major Kalshi classes on our website and afterward when you check the official answer keys, and if you feel the answers are wrong there you may simply challenge the official answer key as well.
Exam Pattern of the CDS 2 2021 Written Exam
For the other wings except for OTA:

- For the correct answer, you will be awarded 1-marks
- There is also a negative marking for the wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt.
Previous Year Cutoff Marks of CDS Written Exam:
The calculation marks for the written exam of CDS Cut off for IMA, INA and AFA are done out of 300 while for OTA (Men & Women) it is calculated out of 200 marks. UPSC CDS 2021 cutoff will release first for the CDS written exam followed by SSB Interview. CDS Cut off for final selection is prepared on the basis of the combined score of the written exam and SSB Interview. Based on the final CDS cut-off score, examination authority, UPSC will release the all India merit list. Shortlisted candidates as per the final merit list are called for training in a respective academy based on their choice/preference. Here I have shared the last year’s CDS 1 and CDS 2 Cutoff Marks.
