UPSC has released the CDS 2/2020 Final result, and Major Kalshi Classes congratulate 129 selected candidates and wish them good and prosperous life ahead. These candidates qualified based on the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination II 2020 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in November 2020 and SSB interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence.
The Commission had recommended 2702, 1246 and 0607 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy. The number of candidates finally qualified is those after SSB test conducted by Army Head Quarters.
Next Step for Selected Candidate in CDS 2/2020 Final Result

Verification of date of birth and educational qualifications of these candidates is still under process by the Army Headquarters. The candidature of all these candidates is, therefore, Provisional on this score. Candidates are requested to forward their certificates, in original, in support of Date of Birth/Educational qualification, claimed by them, along with Photostat attested copies thereof to Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters per their first choice.
CDS Cadets Training Duration and Process
A few days of starting will be all about your fitness and diet and morning exercise at 4am. They will also teach you about military subjects. After few days you will start your Basic Military Training in the guidance defence personnel’s in which you will be taught about the Weapons used in the war and how to use those weapons etc. you will be trained so hard in this so that you can prepare for the next training. In these three academies, You will be trained for 2 years. And here you will be trained about your duties, about your responsibility, etc. after the pass this successfully there would be Passing Out parade after this you will be posted as officer in your respected branch.

Joining Location:-
After completion of the training period, you will be posted according to your merit, and which branch you choose for your service. We can say that after training you will be posted pan India. So be prepared to work across India.
Salary of CDS Cadets:
The pay, as well as benefits to the candidates selected by way of the CDS Exam, starts during the period of training itself. Cadets do not get any salary Cadets are eligible for a sum of Rs. 21,000 per month as a stipend during the training period.
This is the stipend that Officer get while their training, Once they complete training they get posted on their respected posts. They get a Salary of around 67,400/-per month. This is just an average salary and salary always depends on the nature of work and posting area, etc.
CDS Cadets Promotion:
Once the CDS cadets complete their academics training successfully. They appear for the Passing out parade and after that, they get the first Posts of the officers in their respected wings like:
- In Airforce they will be joined as flying officers
- In the Indian Navy, they will be joined as a Sub- Lieutenant
- In the Indian Army, they will be joined as Lieutenant.
