Air Force X & Y Group Examination – Career in Armed Forces India

This exam is conducted by IAF once a year. There are technical and non-technical trades in this entry. Candidates who have passed 10+2 can apply for this exam.

Age: 16 to 19 years

Educational Qualification

Group X

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English along with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Or,

Candidates must have passed three years diploma in Engineering in stream with 50% marks in aggregate as well as 50% marks in English in diploma or in 12th/10th (if English is not subject in Diploma Courses).

Group Y

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with any stream along with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Group X and Y

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English along with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics and have at least one of these subjects – Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science will be eligible.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam along with Mathematics & Physics with 60% and at least one of these subjects:-Chemistry/Biology/Computer science.
