Indian Army TES 51 Eligibility Criteria 2023

Nationality: To apply, a candidate must be an unmarried male and fall into one of the following categories:

  1. A citizen of India.
  2. A subject of Bhutan.
  3. A subject of Nepal.

  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India. However, candidates in categories (2), (3), (4), and (5) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

For Gorkha subjects of Nepal, a certificate of eligibility is not required. If a candidate in any of the categories (2), (3), (4), or (5) needs a certificate of eligibility, they may be provisionally shortlisted, subject to obtaining the necessary certificate from the Government before the SSB result declaration or joining training.
