Army Scouts Masters Competition
For the very first time, India will host Army International Scout Masters Competition in the Jaisalmer City, Rajasthan between end of July to mid-August 2019. A planning conference for this event will be held from Tuesday to Friday. It will be conducted in five stages which will include a test of the marksmanship, endurance, navigation skills, and teamwork. Army International Scout Masters Competition is designed to promote cooperation, collaboration as well as team spirit among all the contestants. This competition will be held by day and at night in which 27 representatives from countries besides India, China, Sudan, Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe, Uzbekistan, and Belarus will participate.

About: This competition is a part of International Army Games steered by Russia, which is the 5th Edition of International Army Games. India is going to host this competition which marks first such edition in international competition.
Objective: The primary objective of the Army International Scout Masters Competition is to forge strong ties with friendly foreign countries as well as promote cooperation, collaboration, and team spirit.
Purpose: The main purpose of the Army International Scout Masters Competition is to give the participant countries an opportunity to learn each other and bring out the best practice. It also focuses on enhancing international military to military as well as technical co-operation between participating states.
Organizer: This will be organized by the Indian Army’s Konark Corps under the Indian Army.
Involves: Army International Scout Masters Competition will involve various simulated battle scenarios, including driving infantry, combat vehicles, setting up ambushes, surviving chemical and nuclear-effected environments, infiltrating behind enemy lines, and ex-filtrate from enemy territory.
Army International Scout Masters Competition will offer a platform for major military equipment, including Mi-17s, BMP infantry combat vehicles, Advanced Light Helicopters, and UAV.
