The candidates can follow the steps below to check and download the selection list for the Air Force courses commencing from July 2022.
- Visit the AFCAT official website @afcat.cdac.in or click on the direct download link above
- On the Home Page, the latest updates are already flashing
- Click on the “Click here” link
- You can find the merit list displayed on your screen.
- Click on the top right button to download it for future reference
- After that search for your name or roll no. from the merit list
- If you can find your name and roll no. on the merit list then congratulations you are selected.

However, the Indian Air Force considers various factors provided below while preparing the AFCAT merit list. After that, the branch, eligibility criteria, medical fitness, and the choice preference opted by the candidates help prepare the final merit list. Moreover, the candidates must be careful about the following things:
- Medical Fitness will be the selection criteria. The competent Armed Forces Medical Authorities have to submit the required documents that prove the accomplishment of minimum eligibility
- The call letters of the students contain the date and time of reporting to the Air Force Academy.
- The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Final selection list contains the names of selected candidates from different entries like the CDSE Entry, NCC Entry, Flying Branch, AE Permanent commission and short service commission, administration, education, and meteorology.
- All the names in the AFCAT Final selection list are in alphabetical order.
