The Indian Air Force has invited applications for the recruitment of Airmen. The applications are mainly for the Unmarried male nominees. The Recruitment Test for Group Y (Non-Technical), Automobile Technician (Auto Tech), Indian Air Force (Police) [IAF(P)] Trades will be held at Babu Pandhari Rao Kridutt Indoor Stadium, Amma Talab, Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh.
Selection Procedure for Rally Bharti:-
The rally Bharti recruitment are conducted by the Indian Air Force for the selection of Airmen. The Indian Air Force has organised a list of important dates and venues for different tasks held in the recruitments. Those are given as follows:-

The selection process for group Y (non-technical) auto tech and IAF is tabulated as follows-
- Physical Fitness Test
- Written Test
- (Adaptability Test 1 and Adaptability Test 2)
- Medical Examination
Note:. Results of the written test shall be declared on the same day.
Physical Fitness Test
- PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run which has to be finished within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats under the given time to qualify.
Written Test
- The Written Test will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. Answers are to be annotated on OMR sheet. Detailed procedure shall be explained before the conduct of the examination. Duration of the written test will be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). Candidates will have to qualify each paper separately.
- The number of candidates who qualify the physical fitness test will be tested for the written examination.

Adaptability Test-1
- Adaptability Test – 1 is to assess the suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves the deployment
in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions. - All candidates who pass the Written Test shall undertake Adaptability Test-1 on the same or subsequent day of written test.
Adaptability Test-2
- The motive of Adaptability Test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.
TGC-131 Medical Standard Test Procedure (Technical Graduate Course)
Medical Examination
Candidates qualifying the Adaptability test 2 will be made a part of the medical examination held in January 2020. The medical exempts of the candidates will be checked on the basis of:-
- Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
- Urine RE/ME
- Biochemistry:- (i) Blood Sugar Fasting & PP (ii) Serum Cholesterol (iii) Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine (iv) LFT- Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
- X-Ray chest (PA view)
- ECG (R)
- Tests for Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance Abuse
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force Air Men Chattisgarh Rally Bharti
The following eligibility details and criteria are given according to the official website of the Indian Air Force. These details qualify for the trades like Group Y (Non-Technical) {Auto Tech & IAF(P):-
- Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.OR
- Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks
in English, in the vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course. - The School / College / Institute from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical/administrative limits of designated Districts.
- Permanent Domicile of designated Districts of State of Chhattisgarh who has passed the qualifying
an examination from anywhere in India shall produce the Domicile Certificate prior to commencement of examination from the appropriate authority. - Sons of serving Air Force personnel {Officer/Airmen/NCs(E) and Unit cadre Civilians paid from Defence Estimates}. Whose father/mother is presently serving in any Air Force Unit/any other Organisation located in the State of Chhattisgarh are permitted under latest SOAFP (Son of Air Force Personnel) Certificate (format available at CASB site on AFNET).
- Sons of Air Force personnel {Officers/Airmen/NCs(E) and Unit Cadre Civilians paid from Defence Estimates} whose father/mother is Retired/Discharged/ Deceased and they are residing in Chhattisgarh shall be permitted to appear in the rally.
- All of these will be necessary for the candidate to qualify.

Airmen Chattisgarh Rally Bharti Medical Standards
General Medical Standards shall be as follows:-
- Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm
- Weight: The qualifying weight is Proportionate to height and age.
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
- Dental: Candidate Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.
- Health: Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally fit to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
- Height, Leg Length, Visual Standards and Colour Vision are as follows:
- First of all Candidates up for the Auto Tech trades should have a height of 165 cm Minimum.
- The leg length of the candidate required is 99 cm.
- The colour vision can be of CP-II type for the Auto Tech trades.
- While those for the trade IAF(P) a height of minimum 175 cm is required with a colour vision of type CP-II.
- Consumption of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances banned under the NDPS Act 1985 shall be rejected for selection into the IAF.
- Permanent body tattoos shall not be permitted. However, tattoos only on the inner face of the forearms (inside of elbow to the wrist), back(dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of palm and for Tribals tattoos which are as per custom and traditions of their tribes may be considered.
- Only Sikh candidates, whose religion prohibits the cutting of the hair or shaving of face of its member, shall be permitted to grow hair and/or retain beard and moustache.
