CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019

CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019: CDS II 2019 will be held in the month of November 18 2019, and its result is expected to be declared by the month of December. The interview process for CDS SSB 2019 will start once the result declared. Union Public Service Commission or UPSC will reveal the cut off for the CDS SSB exam by the month of February 2019. Candidates who will get minimum required marks will be eligible for the CDS SSB interview 2019. Before appearing in the interview process, candidates are suggested to check out CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019 in order to increase their chances to clear it in the first attempt.

CDS SSB Interview 2019 process is divided into two categories – Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 involves Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception & Description Test, whereas Stage 2 includes Interview, Group Testing Officer Task, Psychology Test and Conference as well. In addition to this, Stage 2 of this interview takes 4 days to complete.

Stage 1 – CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019

In this stage, candidates will be judged on the basis of their physical appearance, mental and psychological ability. In addition, candidates will be judged for their verbal as well as non-verbal abilities.

Officer Intelligence Rating – CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019

This test is divided into two categories, including Verbal and Non-Verbal. Candidates are required to answer 50-60 questions for each section.

Verbal Reasoning: The total number of questions asked in this section is 50. To complete this test, 30 minutes will be given to candidates. After completing this, they will proceed to the next section, which is Non-Reasoning.

Non-Verbal Reasoning: Candidates are required to complete 50 questions within 25 to 30 minutes. After this, they will proceed for Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT).

Picture Perception and Description Test: It is a screening test in which candidates will be provided with 30 seconds to observe a hazy picture and expound on it within 3 minutes. Each candidate has to focus on various parameters, including age, sex, mood, character, and so on.

Stage 2 – CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019

It is a 4-day process which includes Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference. CDS SSB Interview Pattern 2019 is given below:

Day 1: Psychological Test

In this test, emotional and behavioral reactions of the candidates will be judged. It also includes Thematic Appreciation Test (TAT), Word Association Test (WAT), and Situation Reaction Test (SRT).

Day 2: Group Task

In this section, candidates have to prove their physical and mental ability. They will have to go through several rounds, including GD, Military Planning Exercise, Progressive Group Task, Half Group Task, Individual Obstacles, Lecturette, Command Task and Final Group Task.

Day 3: Personal Interview

In this test, candidates will be appeared in front of the senior officers and judged on the basis of their verbal ability and confidence.

Day 4: Conference

This is the last round in which candidates will appear in front of the Board Committee which includes members from President of the board, Deputy President, Group Testing Officers, and Psychologists. Candidates who want to get admission in Air Force Academy are required to appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test in which general and informal questions will be asked.
