The candidates who want to join the Indian Armed Forces must know the various educational qualifications that one must fulfil to join the three earned forces. We will be listing various Indian Army, Navy and Air Force vacancies. Non-Technical Graduate Entries
JAG Entry (Judge Advocate General)
Judge Advocate General also known as JAG consists of legally qualified army officers having knowledge of military law.
Eligibility: You should at least score 55% marks in graduation (law).
One should be registered with the Bar Council of India or of the State for the JAG entry course.
The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 27 years.
CDS Entry (Combined Defence Services)
Eligibility: The age of the candidate should be between 19 to 25 years.
He/ She should have completed/pursued their graduation from a UGC-recognized university.
NCC Special Entries
Eligibility: In the case of special admissions for NCC, you are exempt from taking the written exam.
If you are a law graduate or have two years of experience in the NCC Senior Division with at least a B or C grade, you should have received at least 50% of the possible points. After that, you will receive a direct call for the SSB interview for joining the Defense Forces.
The candidate should be between the ages of 19 and 25. The Officers Training Academy will conduct the training.
University Entry Scheme (UES)
Eligibility: Candidates’ age should be between 18 years to 24 years.
One should be pursuing his graduation in B. Tech from a recognized university.
Only 3rd and Final year students can apply for this.
