In order to join Armed forces as Commissioned Category you need to be Physicaly and Mentally fit. Here we bring the full detail of Physical and Medical Standard of Commissioned officers. The Physical test is conducted by the defense Personnels to check the capacity and stamina of the candidate. If you have any problem while running or doing push-ups, you will be rejected. The Activity which you have to do in the Physical tests that is very normal and can be performed by any normal person who has average Physical health. let’s discuss these things in detail:
- Height: The height of the candidate should not be less than 157cm for men and 152cm for women.
- Weight: The weight of the candidate should be standard as per height. BMI rate must be good.

- 1 Mile Run (1.6 Km)
- Pull Ups
- Balance
- 9 Feet Ditch
1. 1 MILE (1.6 Km) RUN

3. BALANCE Should be qualified and no marks are awarded.
4. 9 Feet Ditch Should be qualified and no marks are awarded.
Medical Standard for Commissioned Post :-
(a) A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health.
(b) Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expension.
(c) Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. He should be
able to read 6/6 in distance vision chart with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III.
(d) Should have sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum 14 dental points.
(e) Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocle or piles.
(f) Should recognize red and green colours.
